My Plan

These have been and continue to be my priorities for the Congleton Constituency:

  • Champion Local Health Provision

'I have worked to ensure the right local health services and facilities are available; so I successfully campaigned to keep Macclesfield A&E open, to bar car-parking charges at Congleton Hospital, for better support for GP surgeries, and for better support for those experiencing mental health

  • Support Local Schools

Fiona was first elected in 2010. She has visited schools across the constituency and welcomed many hundreds of students to Parliament, and prioritised fighting for better funding for local schools.'

  • Promote Jobs and Enterprise

'I consider it important to support local businesses wherever I can, working with them to troubleshoot problems and help create jobs; my own business background means I understand how hard people work to make their business a success.'

  • Improve Local Transport Facilities

'My transport plan is to secure Government funding to improve local roads and rail services; tens of millions of pounds have been granted by Government towards the Congleton Link-Road, M6 improvements, a Middlewich Bypass, and road service improvements across the constituency.'
