I am exceptionally frustrated by reports of Christmas parties in Government. I and my staff had no Christmas party last year and I know that it was a very difficult time for people across the country with many people making significant sacrifices to protect others around the country.

I am glad that an investigation is being held and that appropriate action will be taken if any rule breaches occurred.
