World Malaria Report 2022 Launched in Parliament

On Wednesday 7th December, disabilities charity Scope hosted a meeting in Parliament for MPs and Peers to raise awareness on the impact of the cost-of-living crisis for disabled people.

An application of planning permission for a two-acre zoo at Bidlea Dairy has been submitted to Cheshire East Council.

Holmes Chapel Zoo will be started by local business Zoo2U.

Fiona Bruce MP held one of her regular meetings with farmers in the Congleton constituency, and presented Ray Brown of Orchard Farm, Twemlow with a Community Farming Champion award for the work of Bidlea Dairy.

Some Congleton Constituency residents may qualify for Pension Credit and not realise they are eligible. 

If you’re eligible, you could get an average of £3,300 of extra support per year.

On Friday 9th December, Fiona Bruce MP visited Goostrey Community Shed, part of the ‘Men in Sheds’ initiative set up by Age UK, to give retired men opportunities to socialise and meet up over practical projects such as woodworking.
