During a debate on Support for British Farming, Fiona highlighted the importance of listening to local saying, 

"My hon. Friend is highlighting the same point as many colleagues: the importance of listening to local farmers on local issues.

"Thank you to my many colleague MPs who came to the gathering I was pleased to organise today in the UK Houses of Parliament to commemorate #RedWednesday and remember the millions of Christians across the world who suffer simply on account of what they believe." - Fiona 

"It was a pleasure to attend the UK launch of Peace Charter for Forgiveness and Reconciliation in the House of Lords, bringing together people from religious and secular organisations, policy makers and educators to raise awareness of the role of forgiveness and reconciliation in peacebuilding."

This week in Parliament Fiona contributed to a debate on the Persecution of Christians and Freedom of Religion or Belief. The debate was called to coincide with Red Wednesday, a day that highlights Christian persecution as well as the injustices perpetrated against other faith groups.
