Tearfund is a Christian humanitarian, development and advocacy charity working in more than 50 countries to help communities overcome the worst effects of poverty and disasters. "Enjoyed supporting Tearfund at their event in Parliament this week and be reminded of the good work I saw in Tanzania when I went to Africa of the small business savings scheme for women like the ones Tearfund oversee, helping very poor women support one another as they develop small businesses to give themselves and their families sustainable livelihoods."
