Fiona, Patron of Cheshire Arts for Health said:
"The exhibits were of a very high standard so all the winners were more than worthy. Cheshire Arts for Health do a fantastic work encouraging people of all talent levels - or just starting out - to get creative - and some of the exhibits were really stunning."
Speaking at the presentation she said
"I encourage Cheshire Arts for Health to join a nationwide group of organisations coordinated by Arts Council England called 'Creative People and Places’. This ground-breaking project coordinates 21 projects across the country reaching over 1.3 million people and is about bringing communities together. The direction of each local group takes is driven by the people themselves and their shared ideas about what they want to create and how to use the arts to improve wellbeing and health, or to tackle issues such as isolation or depression - which is exactly what Cheshire Arts for Health is doing, so I believe it would be a worthy addition to this nationwide project backed by the Arts Council and look forward to supporting Cheshire Arts for Health further in this connection.’
