"Good once again to be with my Goostrey constituent at the Intellectual Property Awareness annual meeting at Parliament. Having sound laws protecting IP rights are critical to give creators, investors, researchers, designers and manufacturers the confidence to invest. It's great that the UK is a leader in this field and to hear from Universities Minister Sam Gyimah at the meeting that this Government is committed to supporting IP as part of its industrial strategy. And it may sound remote from people's daily lives but IP protects so many products and processes - even a micro brewery tasting test process, which the Minister 'sampled' that day!"
