Fiona is leading the call for a ban on patients travelling to China for 'Organ Tourism'. The proposed ban is supported by a cross-party group of MPs and follows reports of organ harvesting, in particular from religious minorities.
Fiona called and spoke in a debate on Community Hospitals in the House of Commons, paying tribute to the role Congleton War Memorial Hospital plays in the local community and its fantastic service and asked the Minister whether Community Hospitals will benefit from the over £20 bn increase in NHS
"I'm very pleased that a constituent asked me to meet with disabled people in Parliament today to hear about SCOPE's report about the difficulties they experience enjoying the same standard of living as non-disabled people, and to support SCOPE's work highlighting this."
