Fiona, as Chair of the Conservative Party Human Rights Commission, has written in PoliticsHome calling on the United Kingdom to remember its duties to Hong Kong, following the crackdown against peaceful protesters.
Fiona is leading the call for a ban on patients travelling to China for 'Organ Tourism'. The proposed ban is supported by a cross-party group of MPs and follows reports of organ harvesting, in particular from religious minorities.
On Sunday, Fiona chaired a panel on "The erosion of freedom, the rule of law and autonomy in Hong Kong" at a Fringe Event of the Conservative Party Conference as the Chair of the Conservative Party Human Rights Commission.
