Fiona Bruce MP is encouraging all constituents to be aware of the general signs and symptoms as Cancer Research UK estimates that 45,000 fewer people were diagnosed with cancer than expected last year.
The earlier cancer is caught, when it is smaller and has not spread, the more likely it is to be treated successfully.
Changes to your body’s normal processes or unusual, unexplained symptoms can sometimes be an early sign of cancer.
As such, it is important to be aware of new or worrying symptoms and - while it is unlikely to be cancer - to speak to a GP so they can investigate.
